QAZAQ AIR (Vietjet Qazaqstan) has announced the appointment of Adilbek Umraliev as Chairman of the Management Board. With more than 18 years of professional experience, including over 15 years in the transport and communications sector, Mr. Umraliev brings a strong track record in leadership, finance, and strategic development to his new role.
Adilbek Umraliev has 18 years of work experience, including more than 15 years in the transport and communications sector.
Mr. Umraliev holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from the European University of the Swiss Confederation. He also graduated from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics at Lomonosov Moscow State University.
He began his career in 2007 as a Chief Specialist at Kazkosmos JSC. Over the years, he worked in Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary, Zerde Infocommunication Holding and Samruk-Kazyna JSC.
Since 2019, he has held the position of Chief Financial Officer at JSC «QAZAQ AIR» (VIETJET QAZAQSTAN) and has served as acting Chairman of the Management Board of the airline since May 2024.
